Finished in the correct grey and black striped UN cloth upholstery used on pre-facelift GTI models from approximately 1985 to 1987. The seat remains in very good condition with clean fabric, good shape and no significant wear visible on the seating surfaces. This is the full-width rear bench version, not the later 60/40 split-fold setup. The rear side retains the original black carpet backing. The two rubber pull straps used to release the backrest latches are missing. Replacement straps are readily available and can be fitted easily. A difficult interior piece to find in this condition and ideal for an original GTI restoration. Fitment:Golf MK2 GTI with UN interior and full-width rear bench seat. Suitable for restoration projects requiring the correct pre-facelift GTI upholstery pattern. Original Volkswagen GTI "UN" rear bench seat complete with seat base and backrest.
