Golf MK2 Parts is founded in 2018 by Jayjay Klingenberg. It all started as a hobby which later turned into a passion. Jayjay always loved cars, especially the Golf MK2. He bought his first Golf MK2 when he was 14 years old. At that time the love for the Golf MK2 started to grow and when he was 19 he started his own business. He started to buy and sell MK2's, but later sold most of his cars to focus only on the parts. When the business grew, he left his dad's shed to rent a wearhouse of his own.
Golf MK2 Parts grew into professional business with happy customers in over 65 countries. At the moment we have over 2.000 Golf MK2 parts in stock. We do not break cars for parts. Instead, we buy lots of parts at once of people who stopped with the hobby or with their business. We are here to keep the MK2's on the road. Not to break them.
Nowadays, finding decent Golf MK2 parts is quite difficult. We often search eBay or Facebook for days, if not months without finding the right parts. Golf MK2 Parts is a webshop for every kind of part: common parts, rare parts and even new old stock parts. Our mission is to provide the parts you are looking for to build your dream Golf MK2. If we don't have the parts, you are looking for in stock. Don't worry, we have new parts coming in every single day. If you are looking for a part in particular, feel free to contact us. We will find the part for you.
JayJay
Founder & CEO
Jayjay started his E-commerce business out of a passion for the Volkswagen Golf MK2. He noticed it was hard to find quality used parts and saw an opportunity to create a dedicated store for Golf MK2 enthusiasts. His favorite part of working with the Golf MK2 is the endless personalization options. He loves the strong community around these cars and has made many friends through his shared interest. When not working, Jayjay is still busy with cars, attending events, and hunting for deals. While his business focuses on older cars, he also appreciates newer VAG group models. The most rewarding part of his business is meeting like-minded people and helping them find the right parts while providing great service.
Vincent
Technical Maestro
Vincent got into the E-commerce business by chance. One day, he was on Facebook and found a spoiler for his new Golf MK2. When he met the seller to pick it up, they ended up talking for hours about how hard it is to find the right parts online. This gave them the idea to start a webshop just for Golf MK2 parts. Vincent knew how to code from his job as a front-end developer, and Jayjay had the vision and the parts. Together, they built Golf MK2 Parts.com. In the company, Vincent's main job is building and maintaining the webshop. He also helps out with any technical questions customers have. Even though he has a full-time job as a developer, he spends his free time working on the webshop and playing video games. What Vincent enjoys most about his work is solving tough problems. He loves finding solutions to difficult issues and making things work better. His skills and dedication are a big part of what makes Golf MK2 Parts.com successful.
